Our Story
Jake Allred started Jakes Wood & Dirt in 2017. He had previously worked in mining and water well drilling and wanted to branch out with his own business. It started as a one man operation running a small sawmill, excavation and clearing, and snow plowing residential driveways in Star Valley Wyoming.
In 2023 the company changed it’s name to Mountain States Drilling, Pump, and Excavation. It purchased it’s first drill rig and pump truck and entered the water well drilling market.
